People are curious beasts. They often confuse what is legal with what is right.
It's perfectly legal for a parent to abandon children and a spouse. Just pay money!
It's perfectly legal to gratuitously shout curse words like the F-bomb in public.
It's perfectly legal to hate others because of the color of their skin.
A lot of horrible disgusting things are legal, but not right, not moral.
So it is with abortion and the sickening plebiscite by Ohio voters who approved Issue 1, the constitutional amendment for unfettered abortion.
Now in Ohio, a female of any age can kill the fetus she is carrying up to the day of delivery upon the sole judgement of the Planned Parenthood doctor (who obviously has a monetary conflict of interest!) that the abortion is for the health of the female. Note that health includes financial health, mental health, family home conditions, etc).
So let me ask all the genius philosophers and moral ethicists this: What does passage through the mother's labia lips confer upon the baby exactly?
I mean if the mother could kill that baby a minute prior to birth, don't you think the moral lesson is she can give life or take it away willy nilly? So when that baby is screaming from a dirty diaper, teething, or hungry, HELL, why not kill it then? After all, it's but a small logical leap for a dim-witted mother (or father).
Canada now allows government euthanasia for seniors who are determined to have no valuable life left to live. So, why not children? Why not middle-aged adults or teens? The US will follow Trudeau's lead, sure as the forest fire smoke blows south.
We're solidly in a dark age of final solutions.
People on respirators aren't "viable" without them. People on chemo aren't "viable". Diabetics aren't "viable" without insulin. No age group is comfortably viable, nor are fetuses. That a fetus is a human being deserving of protection only when it can independently live without its mother's life support is a legal fiction for the confused and dishonest. There is no such "bright line" conferring human status.
The Ohio majority vote demonstrates the selfishness and self-deception created out of a stupid construct that doesn't exist in any other phase lifespan. It is currently reserved for killing babies before passing out of the vagina. But not for long!
Since Roe v. Wade, it seems America is just looking for a convenient way to keep the slaughter going, because life is such a messy thing. Doesn't fit in the sterile Martha Stewart perfect soulessness of a less-Christian and less-self-aware culture. The materialistic worship of "stuff" over life itself. Sixty Million aborted babies in the last 50 years, that's America.
I vomit over my fellow citizens. You make me sick. We are going to hell.
And yet I love you and all people, including the unborn. May God save us from ourselves.
