Like everything with The Left, Hitler trash talk only goes one direction.
So tired of the Trump-Hitler trope, that the usually cool JD Vance unloaded on a daffy AP reporter this week. Trump had noted that the "blood" of America (not white people, not Aryans, but AMERICA) was being poisoned by the criminals and fentanyl flooding across the border along with economic refugees. And Trump ought to know about that sort of infection of the body, having lost his brother's life to addictive chemicals.
But, no. The Left (which includes the AP, Reuters, all the big papers, and the broadcast media) seized on it as "proof" Trump is Hitler.
But nobody on The Left will lose their job like Gina Carrano did for drawing Third Reich comparisons. When actress Carrano compared lefty speech codes and woke policies to the National Socialists (the Nazis were Germany's liberals in the 1930's and 40's), Disney fired her for supposedly outrageous stretching of the analogy, such that it discounted the true horrors of Nazism.
But in the lefy culture, The Hitler Game only works against conservatives like Carrano and Trump.
OK...let's play that game, if Disney and The Left want to.
On Dec 21, a crazed Czech grad student shot and killed more than a dozen people on a college campus in Prague.
True to form, whenever a gun is used, it is fodder to comment on American Constitutionally-ensured right to keep and bear arms. So it was immediately in this case, even though it happened thousands of miles away on a different continent.
News outlets claimed it was "the worst mass shooting in Czechoslovakian history."
Well that's news to this historian.
Let's take the little non-combatant Czech town of Lidice during the leftist socialist Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia. Let's play The Hitler Game with mass shootings in CZ, since The Left in America is engaged in the full trope.
Every adult male in Lidice was lined up and shot by the leftist socialist Nazis in reprisal for the car bombing of SS general Reinhard Heydrich. Almost 180 men that one day. Just a few more than the crazed univeristy student this week. Afterwards all the children and women were likewise liquidated by immolation, firing squads, hangings, etc. And other Czech towns too.
The Left in America is not only facile, but idiotically unschooled. They rail and yell like black-booted Gen Z suburban girls at a BLM march. They have no context for their remarks. They have only hate of America in their hearts. And any Hitler meme will do in a pinch.
But they've worn out the shock value of "racist", "white supremacist", "Hitler", and "Nazi", because they are so over the top, so unhinged, and so factually deprived that we're not affected any more. It's just static.
Hitler is said to have caused over 12 million non-combatant deaths by various means, to include mass shootings.
Trump - for all his personality flaws - hasn't put one person in a concentration camp, executed anyone, and has a daughter married into the Jewish faith with his granchildren raised as practicing Jews.
What a Hitler he is!
